Colorado review and photo dump

My two week vacation to Colorado was absolutely delightful! I got to spend lots of time with family and my friend Devin (who you can find here!) It was really nice to be able to bond with my baby foster brother. I spent time hitting up shopping hot spots, eating yummy home-cooked and restaurant meals, watching tons of junk t.v., and just enjoyed life. Two weeks went by so fast! I shall share my trip through my own images of where I had gone and what I did.

I have tons of pictures of my foster brother too, but I can't share them until we get to adopt him. I had so much fun and got to think things out clearly. A part of me really grew while being away. I wish everyone's whole summers were free time to explore and learn. Now I am home and its back to the grind. I have been doing some changes in my wardrobe, bedroom, cooking, and crafts. There is still so much summer left. I miss Colorado everyday! Can't wait to go back!

Birthday in Review

I love my birthday! I tend to make it last as long as possible! It always a happy time to celebrate life. This year I was in Colorado with my mom for my wonderful 20th birthday! We spent the day reminiscing about my birth and all the year inbetween. For my birthday we went to a nice beach during the day and then went to eat at Casa Bonita! It was such a lovely time at the beach, perfectly sunny and warm. It was my baby foster brother's first time at a beach and he seemed to enjoy the sand in his toes. To me it doesn't get much better than sitting out and soaking in the fabulous weather.
Casa Bonita was a really neat mexican restaurant! It was HUGE!! There is two acardes, cliff divers, magic shows, a spooky cave to climb through,  mariachi band, and so much more! The food itself isn't that great, but oh my the sopapillas are the most delicious dessert of all time!! Nom nom nom!! All in all it was a pretty nice birthday.

Since we were so full from going out that night for my birthday we waited to have cake until the next day. See a never ending birthday!! My mom got me some fun beauty stuff and another DQ cake. It was really nice to get to celebrate my birthday with my mom, step dad, and foster brother since I don't get to see them much. So far being 20 doesn't feel too different, but I am planning on making it an amazing year!
Happy Birthday to me!!!! I am still in CO and will have even more fun to share soon!!

Birthday,Art Fair, plus some!

Well my summer still hasn't slowed down any! However, I am not complaining. I have been keeping busy with tons of fun things happening. Since I will be out in Colorado for my birthday on the 9th I had an early celebration with my fam. We had yummy grilled food, enjoyed the nice weather, and all caught up. I found my cake at Dairy Queen!! I was so happy, it even already had happy birthday written on it. My family friend Layla took me to get a mani pedi and my bestie Amy got me a sugar skull. Too cute!
Hello Cake Kitty!

Later that week was the annual Art Fair. It is a little festival with art booths, bands, and performances out in the street where the Coffee Hag is. My aunt and the lovely MaDonna (memadonna) danced there. It was a lovely day out. I got to take my bike out to enjoy the festivities.

I have been keeping busy at home but I am beyond excited to go to Colorado tomorrow!!! I might be MIA while I am there but I will have tons to share when I get back! Here is a nice rainbow to remind you to enjoy the little things this summer..
