Manchester Afternoon

I finally have full access to all my money!! I decided that meant I deserved a trip back to Manchester. I went all on my own and got all my train and bus tickets on my own! I am just a little local! I wanted to hit up Primark and get some good deals on clothing. It was nice to just walk around a big English city and know where I was. I went back to a few places I had been to my first day in the UK. Here are some sights..

 Primark!!!

 Manchester Cathedral

 Hard Rock Cafe

National Football Museum

I did some shopping, mostly at the Primark! I walked through a big shopping center too. It was really nice to walk around and know where things were. I maneuvered the city pretty smoothly and recognized stuff from my first visit. It is a great feeling knowing you have learned a new city.

So here are some things I bought! I can't wait to find more shopping places around England. I had to get an I heart Manchester shirt, I couldn't resist the touristy item. I find it funny and ironic, and it was only 3 pounds so Holla!

My next trip may have to be London! I have two days off next week! Go for adventure and do all you can!

Colorado Bound

Awww! Finally my long week of watching my younger cousins is over! Also my wisdom teeth, or lack there of, have healed up nicely and I can now eat anything and drink from a straw. Oh the simple things in life. I was so overwhelmed and stressed I did some financing and booked a flight for two weeks out to good ol' Colorado. I deserve a vacation. I will be there over my birthday, making it nice to be able to celebrate with my mom. I thought I would share some of my favorite things to do in Colorado and what I plan on doing for my trip!

I love Boulder, CO! The environment and spirit there is so much fun! Between the street shopping and the parks, there is so much to do there. I have only been to the Tea house once, but it was incredibly beautiful. Their own chi tea was so tasty. It really is a tea lovers dream place. Also in Boulder is pearl street. A great place for even better shopping. There are big name shops and little boutiques all down the road. The restaurants on Pearl street are wide variety. No way no one could find at least one place to eat at. You can spend a whole day there and never get bored.
I clearly love shopping. The flatiron mall has a special place in my heart. My mom and step dad used to live right across the street so walking to it was a breeze. Once they moved it was the first place I was able to drive to on my own. It is a huge mall! There is a massive Forever21 there, so I am in love! The 16th street mall is in Denver. It is kind of like Pearl street but much busier with more mainstream shopping. Still a fun place to explore..oh and there is also a Forever21 there. Also both places have a Vicroria's Secret, and the semi-annual sale starts the 12th!!
I have never been to the Ren Fest so I can't really say anything about it. But hopefully my fam and I will be going on my birthday!
Since my foster brother is foster to adopt I plan on bonding with me all I can. So far it seems to be a pretty good chance of my mom and step dad adopting him. I always love getting to spend some time with my mom. And my friend Devin!! I plan on spending some good time with her! Check her blog out, dare to be remarkable.

If you are ever out in Colorado, plan to visit, or live there here are the sites to some of the places I mentioned! Highly recommended to be checked out!

Weekend Wrap up!

Hello!!! I am so sorry it has been so long! Classes just started last week and the store I work at moved locations, so I have been a very busy girl. I have barely had time to sit down at home and just relax. After my stressful week Mark and I decided to spend Saturday watching a movie and football! It was nice to relax. We also ate so much food! We got Mazetlan and then some yummy Erbs and Gerbs sandwiches! Then on Sunday we went on a trip to the Mall of America!
We spent the day just being together and shopping. I didn't find as much clothes I liked as I wish I would have. I got a really great cat shirt (to be featured soon!), a nice fashion blouse, and 2 colors of nail polish! Then for a little extra fun we went to what used to be called underwater world! Mark loves going to places like the zoo and aquariums.
Here are some things we saw!
I was so inspired by the beautiful blue of the water and the colors of the octopus! Even Trident's head inspired me for some reason! It was very cool! Pretty expensive though for a small exhibit. After sea life we went to a restaurant at the mall for dinner and watched the Packers vs the Giants (err I think) game. I had a super yummy pasta! It was a spicy chicken pasta.
Yum!!
It was a wonderful day but it wore me out. Mark and I both had monday off so we made it our lazy night. We watched True Grit, and it was so amazing!!! I highly recommend it! After watching that we finally started Breaking Bad! We are about 7 episodes in and can hardly stop! I am glad we finally got into it. It was truly a weekend of bliss.
What did you do over the weekend? What is your favorite thing to see at the aquarium?

Wish List Wednesday

This weeks wish list Wednesday is dedicated to Cow Kitty! Here are a few things on her little kitty Christmas list.
Cow spends a lot of her time sleeping. So why shouldn't she have a lovely bed to sleep in? These suitcase cat beds are so cute and look nice compared to other pet beds. You can also make one of these yourself as a DIY project. Cow Kitty often sleeps on the dogs bed, maybe this holiday she will get her on cozy bed.
One of Cow meow's favorite toys are these little mice. When she is in her wild playful mood she just goes nuts with these. Be careful though, because more than once I was scared she had a real mouse! EK!
All cats love the rare treat of canned food. I don't give it to her much because I don't think it is very good for cats to eat a lot of it. Every Christmas I do get her one can. She always goes nuts and growls if you try and take it away!
Even though she only gets canned food once a year doesn't mean she can't have a little treat every now and then. Like most cats, cow has her naughty moments. I catch her eating food off the counter, climbing the Christmas tree, and chewing on the plants. So when she listens and does good little kitty things she can have a treat.
Cow Kitty loves starring out the window. Since my window is only open for a few months she doesn't get much time to sit in a window. This little window seat would be perfect for her. There is a lot of different designs of these seats, so you could find one that fits the decor of your house. I found a bunch on Pet Co's website.
So there are just a few things Cow Kitty would love to unwrap on Christmas. What things are your pets wishing for?

Winter Wonderland!

Well it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! It snowed over the weekend and looks like it will be sticking around. I think snow looks beautiful, but I have awful driving anxiety when its snowy and icey out! So if I don't have to drive I try and stay in. So tha'ts exactly what I did today! I had a lazy day around the house, wrapped some presents, and decorated the tree!

Like everyone else I have been busy making Christmas list after Christmas list for loved ones. Sometimes it is just too hard to think of ideas for that certain boy or girl. I have created a his/her gift list of some ideas to help everyone out.

1. What guy doesn't want his favorite T.V. show on DVD or his new music obsession CD. DVDs and CDs are always a nice and simple gift for your special man.
2.The perfect Push up is my next suggestion. If he isn't to interested in going to a gym he can just work out at home on his own time.
3. Every dude should have a tie for those special occasions that come up. Ties can be found in a wide range of prices, prints, and colors. You can find the perfect style for him.
4. Help him keep his feet cozy and warm all winter. Slippers are nice for around the house on those lazy winter nights.
5. A wireless game control is a must for the gamer in your life. Even if he already has one, a second means his buds can join in on games when they come over.
6.I found this mini bartender set at Target.com. It has 7 pieces and its simple look makes it acceptable for any kitchen.
7. Sweaters are something everyone needs during these cold winter months. They can also be worn everyday or on a special occasion.
8. Even though guys aren't in love with shoes the way girls are, they could steal use a nice pair of boots. These are from forever 21. Keep him fashionable and functional through the snow months.
9. You can get your man smelling just the way you want him. These manly body scrubs, after shave, and cologne sets often go on sale for the holidays.
10. A mini grill is a great gift! He can use this to make his own little bbq inside during the winter.
11. A nice small gift is a personal massager. He won't be able to get enough back massages from you.
1. A nook is a fabulous gift! Mark got me one last year and I love it. You can get the book you want without getting off the couch. And the new nooks have so many more options, like Netflix!
2. A pair of pajamas is always a safe bet. Girls love being comfortable and cozy.
3. Picture frames come in so many different looks you can find the perfect one to match your lady's personality. You could even put a nice picture in it for her.
4. A yoga mat might be more of a specific gift. I have wanted one for a while. You could sign her up for a few classes to go with the mat.
5. Pure Lux has the best mineral eye shadows ever! You can get sample sizes for just $1! And the sample sizes last forever! Its a cheap gift that she will love!
6. Shoes! This pair is from forever 21. I have been dying for a pair of bootie wedges. Just know your girls shoe size and get a pair of shoes she has been eying!
7. Coffee and a mug is a cute little gift. Like the picture frame you can find the perfect mug to match her personality.
8. Who doesn't love adding a new Victoria Secret Pink sweatshirt to their collection?! There are so many to choose from online and in the stores.
9. Bath and Body Works has such good car smelly-s. They make a good stocking stuffer or their own little gift.
10. Decorative ear buds are a big gift idea this year. These ones are Monster High earbuds. They are cute and great for travel.

I hope some of my ideas help you out! How are your Christmas lists going?

Wish List Wednesday

Here is my Christmas wish list! It seems to grow a little more everyday! It is hard to tell everyone what I want because I always fear people not talking and getting doubles. Some of these things I already know I am getting, since I picked it out and ordered hehe.

1. I fell in love with this purse when I found it on Forever 21.com! I have been looking for a new purse for a while and I want something slightly simple to go with everything but also not boring. I asked one of my friends to get this for me.
2.I have been wanting a nude nail polish for a whole. This one is also from Forever 21. I might buy this myself for my own little treat.
3.Monster High Doll, Frankie, has been on my wish list before. My mom already told me she got her for me so not much of a surprise there, but I am still very excited to open her!
4.I don't have very many sweaters and since winters can be brutal here in MN I think I should get a few. I want a nice cozy cream sweater. This one if from Target.
5. I cannot get enough leopard print! One of my grandmas had me order this online to send to her to wrap. Another no surprise but I am thrilled to get it and wear it!
6. I asked Mark to get me a photo album. I took a ton of pictures with my foster siblings and would like a nice album to put pictures of them in.
7. Since it gets so cold and dark in the winter I thought I would try a tanning membership. Normally I don't ever go fake tanning. But I thought it might make me a little happier in the long winter months to get some vitamin b!
8. Pretty Little Liars is one of my favorite shows and books! Season 1 is now out on DVD. I also asked Mark to get this for me. It is a bit cheaper on Amazon than from stores.
9/10. I have asked for this charm before. I already have a silver chain but this pink one is just too cute to resist!

What kinds of things are you wishing for for Christmas?

Colorado Wrap Up!

I'm back! I had a great vacation visiting my mom, step-dad, and foster siblings out in CO! I did some shopping, some cooking, and some family fun! My first night my mom and I shared a bunch of Indian food! So Yummy! It was just my mom, the kids, and I for the first two days. On Tuesday I went shopping with my friend Devin! We went to the 16th street mall!

We went to a huge Forever 21 and a H&M! When we were leaving we found this adorable little cup cake stand! It was called Gigi's Cupcakes and had the cutest sweetest looking cup cakes! When we went to order we discovered it was buy one get one free! I ended up getting a chocolate moose and a peppermint candy cane flavored cup cakes! They were only $3.50 each and since it was a deal thats all we payed for two delicious treats!

Once the rest of my family arrived on Wednesday we started all the family fun. We helped the kids make gingerbread houses and gingerbread cookies! It was so nice out we spent a lot of time outside. It was really nice to get to spend time with my foster siblings. I can't put any pictures of them up, but they are super cute! They leave us in about 2 weeks to go live with their grandparents. It is hard and sad but at least we know they are going somewhere where they are very loved. They really liked eating all the candy for the gingerbread houses and cookies. Once we were all done I let Angelita eat off my gingerbread house so she could keep hers all decorated.

We had a delicious thanksgiving! We ate so much food we were all in a food coma! I watched some football and took a little cat nap. Later at night we played games and went back for seconds. On Friday my aunt, little cousin, grandma, and I all went black Friday shopping. We went at about 11 am in stead of super early in the morning. We went to the Flatiron mall and Pearl st in Boulder. I picked out some Christmas gifts and got myself some amazing boots! Later that night we let the kids open some Christmas gifts we got them so we could have a Christmas with them. They went wild over all their new toys! I even got to open an early present and got my first Monster High Doll! My mom got me Ghoulia Yelps!

Time went way too fast! It was a great trip I just wish it didn't have to end! Now it is back to the real world! How was your thanksgiving? Hope it was filled with good times, good food, and good company!

Wish List Wednesday

I know I am late! Sorry! I had class then work then class again yesterday, so it was a long draining day. But no worries, here I am! Since it is only November I guess Christmas is on everyone's mind! I am still morning Halloween! I don't have a Christmas list yet, but here are some things I have been thinking of owning.

The first thing I am wishing for is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 on DVD!!! It comes out tomorrow and I am so excited! It will be $14 at target! I will be there for sure! It is so sad that it is the final Harry Potter movie to come out! It is bitter sweet!

Monster High has become my new obsession! I keep playing on they website and looking into buying the first book. My favorite Monster is Frankie Stien! I actually did ask for this for Christmas..hehehe! She is just so cute!
I am also wishing for a nice cat brooch..there is no picture of this because I haven't found one i want! Anyone seen any cute ones for sale? It would be fun to make one with a picture of my Cow Meow!
What are you wishing for?
