Baby LoElla has Arrived!

Back in December I made a post about my aunt being pregnant! Well little LoElla finally arrived! I had been so excited and it is so crazy how time flies! She was born on Sunday July 15th! She was 7lbs 2oz and 20 inches long. Baby and mommy are home now all in good health. She is adorable and just perfect. I can't wait to watch her grow. I promise to always be there for her, never judge her, and give all my love and positive energy to her.

Well my summer still hasn't slowed down any! However, I am not complaining. I have been keeping busy with tons of fun things happening. Since I will be out in Colorado for my birthday on the 9th I had an early celebration with my fam. We had yummy grilled food, enjoyed the nice weather, and all caught up. I found my cake at Dairy Queen!! I was so happy, it even already had happy birthday written on it. My family friend Layla took me to get a mani pedi and my bestie Amy got me a sugar skull. Too cute!

Later that week was the annual Art Fair. It is a little festival with art booths, bands, and performances out in the street where the Coffee Hag is. My aunt and the lovely MaDonna (memadonna) danced there. It was a lovely day out. I got to take my bike out to enjoy the festivities.

I have been keeping busy at home but I am beyond excited to go to Colorado tomorrow!!! I might be MIA while I am there but I will have tons to share when I get back! Here is a nice rainbow to remind you to enjoy the little things this summer..

Colorado Bound

Awww! Finally my long week of watching my younger cousins is over! Also my wisdom teeth, or lack there of, have healed up nicely and I can now eat anything and drink from a straw. Oh the simple things in life. I was so overwhelmed and stressed I did some financing and booked a flight for two weeks out to good ol' Colorado. I deserve a vacation. I will be there over my birthday, making it nice to be able to celebrate with my mom. I thought I would share some of my favorite things to do in Colorado and what I plan on doing for my trip!

I love Boulder, CO! The environment and spirit there is so much fun! Between the street shopping and the parks, there is so much to do there. I have only been to the Tea house once, but it was incredibly beautiful. Their own chi tea was so tasty. It really is a tea lovers dream place. Also in Boulder is pearl street. A great place for even better shopping. There are big name shops and little boutiques all down the road. The restaurants on Pearl street are wide variety. No way no one could find at least one place to eat at. You can spend a whole day there and never get bored.
I clearly love shopping. The flatiron mall has a special place in my heart. My mom and step dad used to live right across the street so walking to it was a breeze. Once they moved it was the first place I was able to drive to on my own. It is a huge mall! There is a massive Forever21 there, so I am in love! The 16th street mall is in Denver. It is kind of like Pearl street but much busier with more mainstream shopping. Still a fun place to explore..oh and there is also a Forever21 there. Also both places have a Vicroria's Secret, and the semi-annual sale starts the 12th!!
I have never been to the Ren Fest so I can't really say anything about it. But hopefully my fam and I will be going on my birthday!
Since my foster brother is foster to adopt I plan on bonding with me all I can. So far it seems to be a pretty good chance of my mom and step dad adopting him. I always love getting to spend some time with my mom. And my friend Devin!! I plan on spending some good time with her! Check her blog out, dare to be remarkable.

Baby, its COWL outside!

My gma Perez made me a lovely cowl for this chilly winter! It is in my favorite teal blue color. It is nice and thick and so soft. I have been wearing it everyday since it has been a chilly streak lately. I am glad I can stay looking cute while keeping warm.

And in the first picture you can see my new cat shirt from Forever 21!!! So cute!! Hope everyone is keeping warm this winter but also having some fun!

Baby Surprise!

On Christmas my aunt and my uncle, her new hubby, announced to us they are expecting! There hasn't been a baby in the family for about 10 years now. We are all very excited and pleased. Here is my newest little cousin..

The baby is teeny tiny but the next few months will go by fast! We will learn the sex in February. Baby is due July 18th! Time will fly and we will be meeting baby soon!

Remembering 2011

Hello 2012! It is the first day of the new year and I would like to spend part of it remembering last year. Memories are an amazing thing and more people should see looking back as a good thing. Here are some big things that happened in 2011!

 

 

Last New Years!

 I went to China in the beginning of 2011. It was an amazing experience and I learned so much! I put off  starting school, but I wouldn't change my choice ever! I got to go to the Great Wall of China, eat strange food, and make unforgettable memories!

Don't Smile!

Channa got engaged this year and the bachelorett party was so much fun! All the girls together just having a good time at the Ren fest and on a party bus! It was such a blast, wish we could do it all over again!

 Then there was, of course, the wedding! It was a perfect day out and everyone looked perfect, especially Channa. It was great seeing family and all our loved ones celebrating Channa and Corey's love. I danced all night. If we get to relive the bachelorett party then we get to relive the wedding right?! Further news on my aunt and uncle is that they bought a house and just moved in on the 30th!

 I got to see my mom a bunch this year! I went to CO in March and in November. My mom was home the end of June, October, and December. It was so great getting to spend so much time with her in 2011.

In pet news poor Bella broke her little leg and had to get it taken off. She is doing just fine now. She walk, cuddles, and plays just like normal.

Christmas in Review

Well it was that time of year again! Christmas came and went and now I miss it so much! I had an amazing time with my family, filling my gut with tons of food, and opening all my gifts. Speaking of gifts, I thought I would show you some of the things I got.

Weekend Wrap up!

This weekend I did a lot of working! I worked both Friday and Saturday and babysat Pilot Friday night. After babysitting Mark and I got some pizza and watched some more Walking Dead. Saturday night I spent some time with my Friend Amy. We listened to some lovely Christmas music, drank a peppermint-y drinks, and decorated her sad little Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. It was from the CO-OP and we called it a rescued tree. It is a sad dingy skinny tree that no one but the Friedman family would want. Then on Sunday my family got together to make tons of Christmas cookies!

We made so many different kinds I don't even know what is all in our box we took. There were caramel marshmallows, peppermint patties, peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips, peanut butter cup cookies, chocolate pretzels, pretzels with rollos, sugar cookies with mints inside, and I think even a few other kinds! We do this every year. We save some to eat for ourselves but also give them to friends for a little holiday treat!

 Then today (yes I know its Monday, no longer the weekend) I finally decorated the real tree I put up at Marks. I also put out our stockings. I want to keep Christmas shopping, but I am low on money until pay day. I love giving gifts. I can't wait to add some presents under the tree.
