My Fall Play List

Well it is finally that time of year, FALL!! The weather has been perfect here, brisk yet still warm, sunny with just enough wispy clouds making all the fall colors pop. Fall is the start of no radio season for me. Fall and Winter are the two seasons I want to set the mood with my tunes instead of hear the hits all day long. Here are my tunes for getting me into the Fall mood...

Some of these artists are similar, I like kind of slower indie dark and moody songs for fall. Lana DelRey, She and Him, Pulp, and Kate Nash fight in that category. M.I.A. and Santigold are my pump up and jam a little on those sunny Fall drives. Too much depressed romance music can put you a little too much in that dark mood, so you need some loud girl power in there.

Some other artists who appear during Fall-
-ABBA
- Beatles
- She wants revenge
- Yeah yeah yeahs
- Talk radio (like real talk radio, not a band)

What artists and songs make you think of fall?

Birthday,Art Fair, plus some!

Well my summer still hasn't slowed down any! However, I am not complaining. I have been keeping busy with tons of fun things happening. Since I will be out in Colorado for my birthday on the 9th I had an early celebration with my fam. We had yummy grilled food, enjoyed the nice weather, and all caught up. I found my cake at Dairy Queen!! I was so happy, it even already had happy birthday written on it. My family friend Layla took me to get a mani pedi and my bestie Amy got me a sugar skull. Too cute!
Hello Cake Kitty!

Later that week was the annual Art Fair. It is a little festival with art booths, bands, and performances out in the street where the Coffee Hag is. My aunt and the lovely MaDonna (memadonna) danced there. It was a lovely day out. I got to take my bike out to enjoy the festivities.
1. My chalk boat
2. My new sandals from Heartbreaker
3. Me and MaDonna!!
4. Rakstar fusion belly dancers. My aunt's cute pregger tummy!
5. Candles hanging in a tree. So cute and magical

I have been keeping busy at home but I am beyond excited to go to Colorado tomorrow!!! I might be MIA while I am there but I will have tons to share when I get back! Here is a nice rainbow to remind you to enjoy the little things this summer..

Gaga for Gaga

I have been thinking a lot about inspirations. Inspirations on my fashion, my decor, and things that just make me feel something. As I have been listening to the radio and some CDs I have been struck with the Gaga fever. I rediscovered my love for her words. There are just certain parts in her songs that inspire me. Here are just a few..
Speechless "You popped my heart seems, all my bubble dreams. Bubble dreams!"

Love Game "I wanna take a ride on your disco stick"
Poker face "Bluffin' with my Muffin"
I Like It Rough "Loving me is like chewing on pearls"
Money Honey "And I'd enjoy some fine champagne while my girls toast"
I love the color champagne!!!!
Brown Eyes "It's no surprise I got lost in your brown eyes"
My eyes

Mine too!
There are so many more inspirations Lady Gaga gives me. Almost all her songs give me some sort of emotion. Inspirations are truly amazing. That moment when something just sparks inside you. Music is a great inspiration. What artists have been inspiring you lately?

Christmas Music Suggestion

I still can't get enough Christmas music! I hear it at work and in my car. It just brightens up my holiday spirit. I am normally not a big fan of celebrities doing Christmas albums.  However, I have been really enjoying the She and Him Christmas album called A Very She & Him Christmas.
They redo some of the classic holiday songs. They slow down a lot of songs, so it is a great album to listen to while curled up drinking some yummy peppermint drinks and talking to friends. What holiday music have you been enjoying lately?

Now that Fall is in full gear it is time to switch up the cds in my car and the tunes I grove to. During the cool crisp season I enjoy to slow down my music. When the days are gloomy and chilly I listen to music to match that mood. Here are some of my Fall favorites and the best time to jam.

On Sunny Fall days-
  • ABBA

  • Lady Gaga
On gloomy Fall Days-
  • Pulp
  • She Want Revenge

While Studying at a Coffee House

  • Sometimes an online radio
  • All of the Artists above!
These are some of my favorite fall tunes. What music puts you in a nice fall mood?
